I don't have a firm understanding of neoliberalism to have an opinion on it yet, but my first impression is that Neoliberalism is to Sri Lanka what Socialism is to Venezuela.

It's a nebulous term, but I thought that my piece would give a sense of what people mean regarding "neoliberal" policies.

As for V'zla, I guess that I could do a piece on it, but it's not an urgent topic for me, though I've contacted people about it before.

The point I was trying to make with that analogy was that when people want to denigrate Socialism they say, "look at Venezuela." So after reading your piece here on neoliberalism and Sri Lanka, I would say the same thing in response.

I don't think that's the real problem.
